Mental health is an issue that affects so many in our community and nation. Smiles for Jake wants to change the stigma in the Brainerd Lakes Area which holds people back from asking for help. We hope to achieve a change in the culture of our community. Implementing voluntary mental health screenings are only a start. Our next step is to make a lasting change to Brainerd and the surrounding communities.

The first $75,000 we raise will go towards implementing voluntary mental health screening. These screenings will take place at high schools and middle schools in our community. We are about 1/4 of the way to our initial goal. Follow our facebook page to see more accurate updates on where we are and what your donations are being used for.

There will be a few public meetings for Smiles for Jake. More information will be on all of our social media pages when we get them finalized.
